This morning I was cleaning my room, and I would be lying to say that it wasn’t an undertaking. Those who know me know that anytime I clean, it’s bound to look like a scene from a Disney princess movie – complete with dancing, singing, and maybe even a few animals.
I’m sure most of you are wondering what exactly this #iStandForGirls thing is about. So I’m here to tell you!

Yesterday was an amazing day for me, I could even call it my best day of 2018. Nothing extravagant happened, it was just a normal Sunday.
Hey y’all! I’m keeping it short and sweet. Today is Shine a Light on Slavery day, a day where millions of people draw a red X on their hand to symbolize an end to the modern day slavery.
My sister and I were on our way home from a conference in North Carolina yesterday when we got the news that a former member of a group we’re in had committed suicide that morning. Though we were not directly affected, it was a somber trip back, spent contacting our dear friends who were closest to him.
Just a few days ago, I never would have guessed that so many of you would be reading my content. Each morning I wake up amazed at all of the thoughtful comments and messages left on my page and in my inbox. I find myself astonished that hundreds of you, from so many different countries have taken the time to read my writing.
